Lenny Conundrum - Round #415

There is a three-digit number containing three different digits where the first digit plus the number formed by the second and third digits, the first digit multiplied by the number formed by the second and third digits, and the sum of all three digits are all perfect squares.

What is the number? Enter ONLY the number.

  1. yeah, I got 202 too. :3 2+02=4, 2x02=4, and 2+0+2 equal 4, which is a perfect square.

  2. This one was fun... too bad it was easy again. Might not have sent my answer in on time =(

    It can't be 202.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Different. Read the problem -.-

    ReplyDelete
  4. There is a three-digit number containing ***three different digits***

    It's 916:
    9+16=25
    9*16=144
    9+1+6=16

    ReplyDelete
  5. "There is a three-digit number containing three different digits "

    Can't be 202

    ReplyDelete
  6. ...are all perfect squares.

How it can be 916? this isn't a perfect square...

    ReplyDelete
  7. I put down 202 a few minutes ago.
but does anybody know what time the LC came out at? I just got on and saw that there was a new competition.
if anybody could let me know exact time, that would be great thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Definitely 916
How fast do you have to submit an answer to get a trophy?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Stop putting 202! It says DIFFERENT numbers -.-

    ReplyDelete
  10. It can't be 202 - you can't have multiple 2s. It also doesn't say that the original number must be a perfect square, just combinations of said number.

    ReplyDelete
  11. How it can be 916? this isn't a perfect square...
    ~
It's not talking about the number itself being a perfect square. It's talking about these numbers:
    9+16=25
    9*16=144
    9+1+6=16

    25 is 5*5
    144 is 12*12
    16 is 4*4

    ReplyDelete
  12. 202 is the correct answer so yeah. sorry for all those who put 916 or any other answers
maybe next time! if there is even a next time.. heh jk

    ReplyDelete
  13. I dont know what you people don't get. ITS NOT 202!!!! it's 916, the numbers have to be different. There's 2 2's there.

    ReplyDelete
  14. IT"S 202
    GOD DAMNIT!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  15. To solve the problem with conflicting answers here: for anyone saying 202, prove that 916 is incorrect. As it doesn't specify that it should be the lowest number, that means that either 202 or 916 is wrong. Read the conundrum, then tell me why in the world you would put 202 instead of 916. Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  16. So 916 has to be correct then?
The only answers on offer are 916 and 202.
No problems with 916 because it fits and the original number doesn't have to be a square.
202 isn't right because it's not made up of three different numbers.
    Solved = 916

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think this puzzle came out around 3:30pm NST
How quickly do you have to answer?

    ReplyDelete
  18. I got 916 as well, phew!

The puzzle game out at 5:01 NST, if I remebered right :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. I didn't post the answer till like an hour later then xD
probably didn't make it in, but I put 202 hopefully I'm right

    ReplyDelete
  20. doh! you guys are right, I must be fatigued, (it is 11:14pm here) but at the last moment I answered 202, what was I thinking ? 'course it cant be 202, it says clearly three different numbers...

    ReplyDelete
  21. There is a three-digit number containing three different digits.
    202 is WRONG.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yay I got it right if it for sure is 916 lol. I just hope I was part of the first 250, I got it pretty soon after it was released so im hoping!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. When are the new ones released? I can usually get the answers relatively quickly (though this one took me around 15 minutes) but I never get top 250 because I get to the conundrum way after it's released.

    ReplyDelete
  24. "There is a three-digit number containing three different digits"

    " containing three different digits"

    " three different digits"

    " different digits"

    "DIFFERENT DIGITS"

Sucks be you, 202ers. Try to read the instructions next time.

    ReplyDelete
  25. ugh ya'll are pathetic the answer is as clear as day

    ReplyDelete
  26. it is a riddle

    ReplyDelete
  27. Guys.
    The answer is 916.
You can even find that on google if you just search the riddle.
    *dances around*
I got it in around 15 minutes after it came in so I think I finally got the trophy ^_^

    ReplyDelete
  28. why tell everyone? u get less of a prize dummies

    ReplyDelete
  29. Type in the exact question to google. Third link is the website TNT copied the question from. The website clearly states the solution as 916. It Cant be 202 because the question clearly states THREE DIFFERENT DIGITS. And considering there are two 2's in 202, they arent different.

    ReplyDelete
  30. It's definitely 916 XD...

    ReplyDelete
  31. I agree with the above comment

    ReplyDelete
  32. 0.0
    big...arguement.
meh im just puttin in 916 to get a chance of winning the trophy

    12492? it says 3 digits?

    ReplyDelete
  33. 12492 is the true answer LOL

    ReplyDelete
  34. definitely 916, it is UNIQUE -- i tried all (6) a+b+c combinations that make 9 and 16 (135 / 126 / 234 /952 / 934 / 853 / 862 / 871

    ReplyDelete
  35. 916. period. confirmed. google it. it's not 202. it's not 12492. answer is 3 different digits.

And the question did not state the answer needs to be a perfect square.

    ReplyDelete
  36. It can also be 036 and 081....

    0+36=36
    0*36=36
    0+3+9=9

    0+81=81
    0*81=81
    0+8+1=9

    ReplyDelete
  37. 0 * 36 = 36?
    0 * 81 = 81?
    0 + 3 + 9 = 9? you stupid bro? :D

    ReplyDelete
  38. (poor english)mybe her ment is
    0+36=36
    0 * 36 = 0
    0 * 81 = 0
    0+81=81
    0 + 3 + 6 = 9
    0 + 8 + 1 = 9

    ReplyDelete
  39. 0+36=36
    0*36=36
    0+3+6=9

is what I ment. So 036 and 081 should also be correct.

    ReplyDelete
  40. 0+36=36
    0*36=0
    0+3+9=9

    That should be.

    ReplyDelete
  41. 0 is indeed a square number too so that should be right.

    ReplyDelete
  42. You are NOT supposed to be asking this question. This is supposed to be a competition, see below:

IMPORTANT : Some people have been creating multiple accounts to enter the Lenny Conundrum multiple times, to win multiple prizes or to improve the chances of winning. Please do not do this, it makes the game unfair for others. We will freeze the accounts of people that we find doing it. Also, giving out the answer or any hints is against the rules. Please help to make the Lenny Conundrum fair for everyone!

This is from the Lenny Conundrum Neopets page where it is CLEARLY stated that you are NOT supposed to ask for answers to the Lenny Conundrum question online as it would be UNFAIR for others.

    ReplyDelete
  43. ^ So why did you go here?

    ReplyDelete
  44. lol Anonymous is a hypocrite

    ReplyDelete
  45. hahah.. lol

    0*36=36

(zero times thirty six equals thirty six)????

hello, where the heck did you get this? are there new rules in mathematics? i thought any number multiplied by zero is always zero??? hahaha. or you're just kidding, right?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Anonymous is right!! xD

    ReplyDelete
  47. 321

    3=2+1=3+3=6
    3*2+1=3*3=9

    :o :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. if you google it you see it's 916

    ReplyDelete
  49. http://www.apuzzlezone.com/adailypuzzle/06-27-08.html

    916.

    ReplyDelete
  50. please people!!! listen to the smart people!!! its not 202!! i promise! its all DIFFERENT numbers!

    ReplyDelete
  51. There are three answers: 036, 081 and 916.

    ReplyDelete
  52. 036 and 081 wouldn't make sense because it would simply be 36 or 81, not 036 or 081. That would be repetitive and only make 2 different digits.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Oh Facepalm...I put 124...It works...Except the three added aren't a Perfect square...Oh well. I got my trophy two weeks ago. Coz it's close to us...

    ReplyDelete
  54. 036 and 081 are not 3 digit numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I put 916..IDK about you guys..

    ReplyDelete
  56. Really people? Why are we even fighting about something as little as a competition that comes out EVERY SINGLE WEEK! I dont know about some of you guys. Anything multiplied by zero equals zero. It is one of the basic math laws. And some of you cant seem to be able to read. Different digits! -Awesome Person

    ReplyDelete
  57. 135
    1+3+5=9
    1+(3x5)=16
    1+35=36

    Um...

    ReplyDelete
  58. 103
    1+0+3=4
    1+(0x3)=1
    1+03=4

    Another...

  59. Just had a great time relearning some programming logic (I haven't done any programming whatsover in over four years). It took me about an hour to pop out a program that gave me 916, which I'm glad to see is what everyone else has, too. w00t for old skills I never thought I'd use again.

Also, do you think it's any coincidence that the answer is 916 when the only POSSIBLE squares the digits can add up to are 9 and 16? ^_^

    ReplyDelete
  60. 036 and 081 are correct too. 0 (digit ) 3 (digit) 6 (digit). Sure that is three digits...

    ReplyDelete
  61. Haha 036 and 081 ...def that for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  62. You guys are idiots.

    THE ANSWER IS CLEARLY 916.
    READ THE QUESTION

    ReplyDelete
  63. 916? You guys have got to be kidding me.

    The answer is:
COZ IT IS CLOSE TO US

    You can thank me later.

    ReplyDelete
  64. ???????????????????

    That's the other LC...

    ReplyDelete
  65. Anonymous said...

what part of number ONLY do you not understand?

    ReplyDelete
  66. I dont get the damn question for god sake and im watching ur stupid argument :S

    ReplyDelete
  67. 081 and 036 are not proper answers, 81 and 36 are not 3 digit numbers, adding a 0 in front of them doesn't make them 3 digit numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Wow...All these answers (I believe I guessed 916; I'm too lazy to do math and I STINK at math miserably) and none of them have been put up for the actual answer. But I will say that 202 and these 0-something's aren't the correct numbers. If it doesn't repeat, 202 won't work; And like the last Anonymous said, 081 and 036 aren't 3-digit numbers. Heck, it's just the same as saying 81 and/or 36!
So come on, arguing people...Give us a break and just be smart!

    ReplyDelete
  69. But what about 135 and 103? Didn't someone say those work?

    ReplyDelete
  70. this conversation is hilarious
the best part is that nobody seems to understand sarcasm

    ReplyDelete
  71. "why tell everyone? u get less of a prize dummies"

    ~

but when you don't know the actual answer you wanna so, here you are.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Must be 916 then..

    ReplyDelete
  73. 135 and 103 = WRONG

    1 + 35 = 36 (Good)
    1 * 35 = 35 (Wrong)
    1 + 3 + 5 = 9 (Good)

    1 + 03 = 4 (Good)
    1 * 03 = 3 (Wrong)
    1 + 0 + 3 = 4 (Good)

Both are wrong in the same place... Maybe lrn2read?

    ReplyDelete
  74. 916 IS THE CORRECT ANSWER

    ReplyDelete
  75. I've won the avatar =]

    ReplyDelete
  76. The new one is 55

    ReplyDelete
  77. New one:
As Grimilix makes another trip through space, keeping a vigilant eye out for his missing leader, he happens to glance at the odometer. (Space ships have odometers, okay?!) As of that moment, he'd gone 14,941 billion kilometers. This, of course, is a palindrome. Two hours later, he looked again and the odometer showed a new palindrome.
What was the average speed of the ship, in kilometers, in those two hours?

    Pretty tricky...
14941 billion is not a palindrome...

    ReplyDelete
  78. 14941 billion is not a palindrome...
    -
they mean the number before the zeros, that's why they mention billion after 14941. The next palindrome is 15051, so there's a 110 billion kilometer gap, which means he was travelling at 55 billion kilometers an hour.

    ReplyDelete
  79. >The new one is 55
I don't think it's 55, because we need to answer in kilometers, not billion kilometers...

    ReplyDelete
  80. 55000000000 kilometers then...

    ReplyDelete
  81. ^ Maybe.
So I said this one is pretty tricky...

    ReplyDelete
  82. I put 55 billion kilometers per hour I honestly don't know what tnt wants.... They can be picky so I decided to put my answer in the same format as the question... I don't know if I'm right though.
