    I'm thinking you have to take the letters that are in the first word but not in the second word. I got

      Symol doesn't have 6 letters in it! None of the petpets matched the anagram, I looked through all of them, even the nonDesert ones. Cheops makes sense though since it's 6 letters long, fits the anagram, and grows in sand (:
