Now that I'm looking at it again, it looks like an acorn item or an Autumn themed item/graphic...We need to see about that.

ReplyDeleteSearch the word "autum" on Jellyneo. I have to go, but when I searched it real quickly, many items similar to the color of the Mystery Pick popped up.
ReplyDeleteSearch the spooky treasure map on Jellyneo if you want to win. Even better, begin realizing it's probably not going to be NC because that requires animation and effects such as that. Think about all the sparkles, animations in backgrounds, that's only with Neocash. Making you take a still picture of that and figuring it all out seems a little cruel.
DeleteBottom Line: Rule out most Neocash and especially one's with animation, sparkles, etc.
Hint: I'm thinking it's probably something spooky or Haunted Woods.
And for clarification: The first page of items that popped up? The colors are similar, sure, but not exact ANYWHERE when you zoom in. And half were Neocash.
Spell-check is useful if you want to spell "pic" right without accidentally writing "pick". I don't know, my computer has Spell-check...try it one day... :)

ReplyDeleteYou guys have a method/site you use to look at pictures for comparison when you're trying to match up the pics? Or do you just click around the Neopets site?
ReplyDeleteThe most used method is trying to get a clue of the picture by the colors of it.
DeleteThen, when you find one picture that is similar, you use an image edition program to find a match between the pic they gave you and the picture there by using zoom.

Cool, thanks. I've been checking things like Petpets painted Tyrannian, a few fall items, pictures in Tyrannia, etc. I hadn't thought of using a program to help though -- I have one, Gimp, but I will have to figure out how to get it to do that.

But you have to find it yourself in the pop-up window! I found out I was right the first time when I guessed. And I think someone already guessed it on this page. Sorry for the long post.

Eh? When I try to view the info/source for the picture, it just tells me that it's Mystery Pic 1082 or w/e. It doesn't say where it came from. Are you sure you're not having us on?
