One particular cold and rainy evening, Gilly decided to break from her usual routine and take a gander at some of the other rooms this mysterious castle had to offer. She wandered for a bit, finding nothing terribly interesting, until she eventually got lost in a wing she didn't recognise.
It was here that she stumbled upon what could only be Eliv Thade's study, full of books - puzzles that had likely been devised by the mastermind himself. One very simple slip of paper, partially concealed under a dusty old tome, caught her eye. She knew the dangers of reading it - more than most did, in fact - but she couldn't help herself. She carefully removed it from where it had surely been resting for many years, took a deep breath, and read it aloud.
Every good riddle requires your brain,
And the hope that you'll live and won't go insane.
Solving this one will be quite the chore.
In this very sequence, find the lost letters four.
_ G R R Y B A T H T Y _ A W G I S T O W B Q T C _ T _ S F T L L F
Assuming Gilly doesn't go insane solving the puzzle, what are the four missing letters in the sequence?
Enter just the four letters, with no spaces or punctuation.
What is the answer?
ReplyDeleteI do not know....
ReplyDeleteELIV - look at the poem and then look at the first letter of every word - DUH !!!
ReplyDeleteEliv!
ReplyDeleteHa ha that was the easiest one I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteBy the way guys, you shouldn't just blurt out the answer on here. It only encourages cheaters. This page is for people to offer help and advice to anyone having trouble so that they can figure it out on their own. Just my opinion, but where's the fun in cheating?
EVIL!
ReplyDeleteLIVE
ReplyDeletevile
ReplyDeletemaybe four..... find the lost letters four just a thought
ReplyDeletei saw it within 5 seconds. literally. just look at it, it was an easy one
ReplyDeletethe 2mil pot is gonna have to go so many different ways, that was too easy...
ReplyDeletedoes capitalization matter? because I answered in lower case
ReplyDeleteevil
ReplyDeleteNext weeks new features post: "A new Lenny Conundrum competition has begun. The answer to last week's was ELIV. 4000000 people guessed the correct answer earning themselves 0.5 NP each."
ReplyDeletetheres only like 50,000+ on the site
ReplyDeleteThis is so blatantly easy it's sad.
ReplyDeleteELIV is correct, it's just Eliv Thade's first name. I immediately saw the connection in the letters at the bottom and the sentences.
How is it ElIV exactly..?
ReplyDeleteOh okay I got it, you just take out the letters of the sequence in the poem. "Find the lost letters"
ReplyDeleteActually, it might be evil... because it was in the order in the poem...
ReplyDeleteevil its a trick stupid. you have to enter evil
ReplyDeleteyou are all stupid. why even make this page if you dont want people to cheat.
ReplyDeleteIt's ELIV and this one was a piece of piss. 5 seconds and done.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who puts anything besides ELIV is a fucking retard.
^ Why are you trying to get dolts to put the wrong answer? So you can secure your jackpot? The answer is evil.
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me how you guys got Eliv,I entered it but I did not understand it?I really want to know.
ReplyDeletei dont get it?
ReplyDeleteI'm assuming that you take the letters out of the poem using the sequence. Whenever you do that it can't be Eliv. There's an I in the sequence. Anyone care to argue about that?
ReplyDeleteIn my last comment near the end of it, " There's an I in the sequence." That I should look like an i even though it's capital.
ReplyDeleteThat was indeed very easy. However I don't understand why do some people say that it's EVIL not ELIV. The lost letters are in order of ELIV. You just take the first letter of each word in the poem and then you'll see.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I was Quick enough.. >.<
ReplyDeleteYou people are all a bunch of fucking retards - I gave the answer at the very top (3rd posting down) and if you put it you are smelly, dirty assholes !!!
ReplyDeleteWow - angry much ???
ReplyDelete"The lost letters are in order of ELIV"
ReplyDeleteNo it's not, the second letter of the poem itself is a V.
"There's an I in the sequence"
No there isn't. Derp.
Oh wait there is indeed an I. I guess everyone thought this was too easy that they hadn't bothered to really think about it.
ReplyDeleteSo I did the cross-off thing all the way through and it turned out the missing letters were E, V, D, U, N, P. Now what?
ReplyDeleteit had nothing to do with crossing off, the letters in the seq are indeed the first letters of the words in the poem. It is ELIV
ReplyDeleteThe people who answered EVIL are just being trolls. Take the first letter of each letter in the poem, and fill in the blanks.
ReplyDeleteWhy the hell aren't you people listening to me - the first letter of every word is the clue - you can all go fuck yourselves !!!
ReplyDeleteGood, let them. More NP for those of us who don't give the answers away. Dumbass.
ReplyDeleteYou really really have problems...get a life!
ReplyDeleteWhoever said that there is a v as the second letter is dumb.
ReplyDeleteAll you have to do is take the FIRST letter of each word in the poem. Now. Read those letters, adn fill them in below.
The answer is ELIV (everyone saying evil is just trying to trick you)
It really was the easiest one I've seen, and I honestly don't understand how anyone cannot see it in the first 5 seconds of looking at it...
i think its JUST because look at it, at the bottom it says "Enter JUST the four letters" so... yeah, i thinks the answer is just.
ReplyDeleteI'm kinda happy and angry at the same time. Happy because I'll get more money when so many people get the answer wrong, and angry because I just don't understand how can someone be so dim-witted? The answer is ELIV. Anyone who thinks it's something else is a moron, end of story.
ReplyDeleteDUH! so easy got it my first try!!
ReplyDeleteHere is a tip: DONT THINK TO HARD. YOU WONT GET ANYWHERE!
Also, look at the riddle....poem whatever.
GOOD LUCK
aaaa
ReplyDeleteAuctually in the order of the poem it IS Eliv....Just saying.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like part of the Eliv Thade castle game (when it says "Beware this terrible spirit has been driven insane over the years..." etc, etc) could be it.
ReplyDeleteBtw, long time, no see. I went ahead and tried to Google the anagram, but it brought this up and that's it. xD
