Today is a lovely day and you decide to go visit the Hidden Tower. You have Neopoints to burn, but you have no special discounts, and will be paying standard price for any item. You want to purchase the most expensive item in the Hidden Tower, then the third most expensive item, and finally the second from last.
How many Neopoints will you spend in the Hidden Tower today?
Enter JUST the number, without commas or "NP" or your answer will be marked wrong!
I got 30,110,000; but did it mean second from last in the list or in price?
ReplyDeleteI think it is 29206700.
ReplyDeleteSword of Lameness: 16,490,000
Twin Faerie Blades: 12,610,000
Squeezy Tombola Guy: 106,700
Second most expensive is Pirate Captains Cutlass at 15,520,000.
Cheapest is Grimoire of the First Order at 97,000. If I missed anything, let me know.
Those prices are discounted 3%
ReplyDeleteI got 30110000 as well.
ReplyDeleteSecond to last probably means second to last in expense.
how can we tell which items are discounted??
ReplyDeleteSame items but no discount, 17 mil, 13 mil, 110k.
ReplyDeleteI based mine off TDN's site about the Hidden Tower. They had the regular prices up.
ReplyDeleteAs for the discount: "Discount for Older Users
Accounts that are 60 months old and above now get a 3% discount at the Hidden Tower on the third Wednesday of each month."
Today (the 21st) happens to be the third Wednesday so everything is 3% off for older accounts.
ReplyDelete... i thought it said "you have no special discounts"...
ReplyDeleteOh-ho...The Neopets Team are tricky tricky people...I had already entered my answer hoping to be one of the first. Well...guess I can enter the "real" answer on a second account, but I already know I'm not getting that one in time.
ReplyDeleteGuys.. wouldn't the answer be 30,110,000??
ReplyDeleteIt specifically says not to enter commas or "NP" when putting in the number.
ReplyDelete17 mill, 14.5 mill, and 450k I got 29900000
ReplyDeleteI think the second from last may mean the item not price. I entered 30110000 but I will be wrong.
ReplyDeletewell i want the trophy anyone know the real asnwer ??
ReplyDeleteAren't the two expensive items sword of lameness (17mill) and pirate captains cutlass (16mill)??
ReplyDelete31610000
ReplyDeletethat's what i got who else got it ??
thats with no discounts.
It's just 17,000,000 guys... You can only buy one item in the Hidden Tower per 24 hours.
ReplyDelete33110000...yep I got it wrong
ReplyDeleteforgot that simple rule, sigh

Second Last: Squeezy Tombola Guy Toy: 110,000
Last: Grimoire of the First Order: NOT COUNTED!
Guys, not to burst your bubble... But some of you forgot to factor in the fact that TODAY is the day of the discount.
ReplyDeleteSo if you put that the most expensive 16,490,000, you're wrong. With the 3 percent discount, it's 17,000,000. Sorry.
It says that no special discounts apply and that you would pay full price
ReplyDeleteThe answer, as I said before, is 17000000.
ReplyDeleteATTENTION!!! If they mean second from the last as in money, the answer is 30110000. If they mean second from the last in items the answer is 37000000. Your pick.
ReplyDeleteThe answer, as I said before, is 17000000.
ReplyDelete--
I don't think the rule applies in this situation.
^^^I have learned that in lenny conundrums the simplest is usually the best.Don't think so hard.^^^
ReplyDeleteWow that would be a pretty awesome twist if the answer is 17 mil. They do stress how many neopoints you would spend in the HT TODAY! Hmmm.... lets see if the one item per day rule applies here.
ReplyDeleteTNT will forget you can only buy once per 24 hrs
ReplyDeletethe question does say today.. so it means u can only buy one which is 17m
ReplyDeletebut im not sure.
17m +13m +110k
ReplyDelete30110000
what i saw anyway
I think its 17 mil.
ReplyDeleteOh ya cuz it says how many neopoints will you spend in the hidden tower TODAY, so its probably the most expensive thing, 17000000
